The 28th Amendment

Meet my brother, my cousins Lucy, Memo, and Isis and just like many others in the United States they are dreamers
00:11
Dreamers receive education and are able to graduate 12th grade
00:16
A dreamer is a child brought under the age 16 illegally to the United States.
00:19
Their parents set people out to bring them
00:23
My Mother arrived in 2003 and my aunts in 1996
00:23
The story
00:27
My cousins arrived in 2000 and my brother in 2005
00:32
My brother was 10 when he got here while two of my cousins were 6 and one being 8
00:37
They were only children like many other dreamers in the United States
00:41
Meaning they have no choice since they are children and of course don't wanna be separated from their parent(s)
00:46
Many dreamers can become successful they are no different to any American
00:51
For example my brother owns his own business of Property and earns 10,000 per month and my cousin Isis earns 66k+ per year as a staffing specialist (supplies companies with workers) and my cousin memo served the marine for four years
00:56
This goes to show that a dreamer can be just as much as a American citizen
01:01
That means they deserve the right to
01:01
and that is what
01:11
The 28th Amendment
01:14
Is about
01:16
Dreamers having the right to vote
01:21
Grant Dreamers the ability to vote
