Achillies' mother was given a prophecy

The prophecy was that Thetis, Achillies' mother, was going to have a son that  was stronger than his father.

The Gods heard this prophecy and let Thetis marry Peleus, King of Thesslian  Phthia

The Trojan War. The 10th Year Achillies will not fight in the war, so his friend, Patroclus, askes Achillies for his armor, and goes to fight in his place.  Patroclus goes a step to far  and is killed by the Trojan  Prince, Hector. Enraged by  Patroclus' death, Achillies  rejoins the battle with armor  made by Hephaestus.

Achillies is on the hunt for Hector. Once Achillies finds him, they have a face to face duel, in which Achillies kills Hector.

Pairs, Hector's brother, wants to get vengeance for his brother and manages to kill Achillies, the greatest warrior of time, by shooting an arrow and hitting the only vulnerable part of his body, his heel. The arrow was guided by the God Apollo. Apollo finally got his vengeance for his son Tenes, whom Achillies killed in the early parts of the Trojan war.
