Let's discuss AcademicStanding and SatisfactoryAcademic Progress.

Academic Standing is a measure that applies to all students. Satisfactory Academic Progress appliesonly to students using financial aid.(Although it is a good idea for everyone to follow those measures too!)

Academic Standing is a qualitative measure. To maintain good Academic Standing all students need to maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA.

Satisfactory Academic Progress applies to studentsusing financial aid. Students using financial aidmust maintain a 2.0 GPA, finish 67% of the class credits they start, and complete the degree in a timely manner.

- Get good grades- Successfully finish   your classes- Take classes required   for your degree

So if your GPA dropsbelow 2.0, you withdraw from toomany classes, or you earn too many creditswithout a degree, you may find a hold on your financial aid.
