How the Aztec Society started

The Aztec society was formed because the Mexicas had created a united group/empire that would continuously grow because they were adding more people from neighboring states in Mesoamerica. The Aztec Empire as it would be later known, is what happened after all the leaders and other powerful figures  would come together to form Tenochtitlan.

What did the Aztecs do

Known for building large cities over Lake Texcoco, being extremely good at hunting, and building other large and important monuments. The Aztecs also built one of the largest farming systems known as the chinampas.

How did they impact history

To this day, the cities they built are still intact and well kept in Mexico City, while also demonstrating how real their history of them is because they did build the cities over the lake, and therefore the cities. The impact the Aztecs left also included the history they left behind such as the calendar, writing system, and language they invented.
