Scabies is a skin infestation caused by a mite known as the Sarcoptes scabiei. If Untreated, these microscopic mites can live on your skin for months.

What action should be taken if infected?

1. For Classic Scabies, doctor will give permethrin cream 5%

Permethrin is an syntethic pyrethroid like normally happening pyrethrins which are removes from the chrysanthemum bloom. Permethrin is protected and compelling when utilized as coordinated. Permethrin kills the scabies bug and eggs. Permethrin is the medication of decision for the treatment of scabies. (At least two) applications, each about seven days separated, might be important to wipe out all parasites.  Children aged 2 or more can be treated with permethrin.
