Chancroid is  a venereal bacterial infection that causes painful ulcerations of the lymph nodes in the genital region

Chancroids spreads through sexual contactIt's caused by the bacteria Haemophilus ducreyiThe  STI is rare in Europe in and North America but present in some African and carribean countries In 2000, Chancroid decreased from 69% to 15% Affects both men and womenMay higher risk of other STI's
