HOW DID MY PRODUCTION SKILLS DEVELOP THROUGHOUT THIS PROJECT?
00:08
1 - Be Resilient To New Ideas
00:08
At the start I was lead to believe I wanted to do period drama however what I really wanted to do was a cheeky and fun Romantic Comedy.
00:14
2 - Edit Professionally on Premier Pro
00:14
I have loved to learn how to edit professionally on Premier Pro because my mother is a TV executive producer so I have always been exposed to the media around me. I have always played around with digital apps before however this experience opened me up to finally soar through editing by opening me up to new techniques.
00:19
3 - Be a clear director on and off set
00:20
Directing gave me an opportunity to interact with my cast and crew which I loved because I was able to help them give their best performance in front of the camera by forming a comfortable environment.
00:24
4 - Apply my creative skills to an opening film sequence project impactfully
00:24
Producing a 2 minute film allowed me to be creative all the way from planning my opening sequence to shooting right through to editing this by allowing my creativity to be unleashed to drive me through.
00:29
5 - Be more confident within the film world
00:29
The more I immersed myself into the film world, the more I became confident to lead my own way alongside my tutors to drive myself.
00:34
6 - Present my blogs in a more fun way!
00:34
At the start of this experience I used to get myself to think I had to write an essay length of words although now I use more concise words and more visuals.
00:39
7 - Use film titles to manipulate the mood or genre
00:39
I used da.font to allow me to have a variety of text styles to choose from.
00:45
8 - Intrigue the viewer to want to keep watching the film!
00:45
I have kept the viewer wanting to keep watching through constructing my piece to feel fun so they would want to keep watching.
00:50
9 - Naturally and independently cut a movie opening down!
00:50
As soon as I started editing my opening sequence I felt myself drift off into the editing world as I got myself into the zone of editing which I found very fun!
00:55
10 - Cast my actors and people behind the set to shoot the film .
00:55
I have found my own way to contact my cast and crew via email or in person to shoot. I enjoyed being able to get the opening sequence together because I was excited to get the shoot started
01:00
11 - Trust my own decisions
01:00
I have been able to connect to the voice within me more than I used to to trust myself to produce something spectacular.
01:05
12 - Script and Storyboard successfully a cheeky romantic comedy
01:05
I have learned to create a fictional script to allow the actors and crew to pursue my opening sequence. Furthermore, I have used a storyboard to visualise the world that I have illuminated.
01:10
13 - Negotiate with other people with the help of my tutors towards collaborative decisions!
01:10
Every challenge or piece of feedback I have faced I have come back much more stronger than ever before.
01:16
14 - Use pre - production methods to plan for a film sequence
01:16
I have used the pre production methods successfully to produce a wonderful film opening sequence.
