What is Dignity of the human person?

Dignity of the Human Person is that every single human has the right to their own dignity and deserve dignity. It also means that no human should have their freedom of dignity compromised, as everyone was created in the likeness of God.

With hunger, poverty, oppression and injustice it makes it impossible to live in a world where everyone has equal dignity.

Human Dignity Grounded in the scripture

Human Dignity is throughout the scripture as Jesus believed everyone deserved dignity no matter who or what they were.

Jesus always forgave people's sins and healed people despite their past.

In the Gospel of Mark, The Greatest Commandment 12:28-34 Jesus is preaching and says one of the most important commandment is 'Love your neighbour as yourself'

Dignity of the Human Person is needed to help create an equal and just world.

an example of when this CST is needed is in a school environment because students come from all different back ground and some students can be judged and treated with disrespect.

another example of where this CST is needed is helping the less fortunate by donating food, money and volunteering at food banks, because no human should have their dignity compromised because they have less than others.

Dignity  is the state or quality of being worthy of honour or respect.

Dignity does not from the work that we have but the facts that we are all children of God.
