In a conflict, being willing to change allows you to move from a point of view to a viewing point-- a higher, more expansive place, from which you can see both sides.

1.- Why is important dealing with conflicts
00:23
It is something that could happen even there is a good communication. Personal and business environments are full of things, activities, interactions and processes that are broken or not operating in the way they are desired to work. Problem-solving gives us a mechanism for identifying these things, figuring out why they are broken and determining a course of action to fix them.

2.- How to deal with conflicts
00:37
Talk with the people involved. Focus on behavior and events, not on personalities. Listen careful to both parts. Identify points of agreement and disagreement. Prioritize the areas of conflict. Develop a plan to work on each conflict: negotiation. Folllow through on your plan. Build success: The final result would be to satisfied the necesities of the both sides.

REFLECTION
01:11
I really think that a good leader should have the tools to deal with problems because as we saw is something that is part of the daily life of the workpiece and the leader is the one that have to know solving it. Conflict resolution could be useful to the team to feel confident with the leader as they feel that their problems matter to the leader, so they feel that their opinion matter. New leadership theories, as some that we studied, social identity theory, is what they are looking for, the objective decentralization, to broke the hierarchy between managers and workers and to give a voice to the workers, to create a workplace where everybody’s opinion matter.
