00:26
Why good dental hygiene is important
00:27
Good teeth allow you to eat and speak properly. You avoid tooth decay and gum disease. Problems in your mouth can effect the rest of the body.

TOPIC 2
00:46
Dental hygiene techniques
00:47
Brush once in the morning and once before bed. Brush properly and for 2 minutes. Brush your tongue as well. Floss to reduce plaque. Drink more water and limit sugary foods and coffee.

TOPIC 3

Effects of food on dental hygiene

Sugar reacts with plaque which causes tooth decay. Acidic food and drink can decay teeth through dental erosion. It's not the amount of sugar that effects teeth but how often it is consumed.
