IMPACT OF CULTURAL DIVERSITY
00:12
Well, the abuse of drugs see his origin in the way of every culture develops and educates people. As we all know, Mexico has a poor education system and these leads to a lack of knowledge about the drugs.
00:22
Also the differences between social classes and how the riches are very rich and the poor are very poor, leading to problems where teenagers develop these traumas and then they find a way of exit in drugs.
00:32
Thats the main reason here in Mexico, and compared with as for example, Japan, has an extreme order with the drugs where if you have the mínimum amount you can lose everything only by the public without even going to a judge.

Ethnographic techniques
00:45
To do this research we use the participative active investigation as ethnographic method, but why? Well because it was easier to investigate a social problem like this
00:50
especially one social problem that affects a big part of the community also the pools make it easier the work of get the statistic of the persons that do an activity in a really big society
00:55
and also we wanted to know the environment that we are researching, this will be explained before because this environment was really dangerous and hard to investigates
00:60
so that’s an other reason why we use this technics and why we made this pools.
01:05
And for the technique we use the field diary because it was a really good technic to investigate a big part of the society specially in the social topics that may affect the rest of the people, as we know the drugs abuse is a topic that has a lots of events lived by the people and we want to know their experiences to prevent the other persons to prevent this problematic,
01:16
Also its important to know the kind of this environment to determine which conditions are needed to lead into this problem, and why the teenagers are the most affected by this problematic, also we wanted to know the population in Mexico that consume drugs, so this technique simplifies the work of the research.
01:53
What kind of problems did we faced while researching?
01:58
We think that the main problem we had was when interpreting the information since some people did not express themselves clearly or concisely, which meant that we had to read over and over again until we understood the point they wanted to express.
02:14
We can conclude with these following 3 points
02:23
Change our way of seeing these problems because perhaps we judge these people more when what they do is scream for help that we do not see
02:31
Also the way we should help changed because ours might not help them as much as a psychiatric or psychological help
02:40
And the people who helped us realize that there are people who, with their information, can help people with problems or inform other people
02:50
