1- What groups of students are likely to experience higher rates of potentially traumatic events at your university (e.g., exposure to violence outside of school, bullying, harassment, violence in university?
Less unfortunate/ less privileges: Students who come from poor backgrounds.
Example: They can afford good internet nor devices to access the online information.
How aware do you think University staff are about the rates and types of trauma in the lives of the students in your college?
I believe the staff here are qualified to deal with different traumatic cases in LTUC, especially when we have an idea about our students' backgrounds and their academic, social and financial aspects.
We give students the chance to use the facilities at the lab and give them extra time.
What more would you like to learn about the prevalence and types of trauma as it relates to your university community?
1- Some concealing provided by the college would be helpful.
2- Bringing awareness to students not to judge one another in misfortune.
3- Normalizing the fact that not all of us come from the same backgrounds.
