plagiarism is taking someone else work and passing it off  as your own. There are many different ways you can plagerise other people or even you own work. Some ways will have more severe consequences than others

Fake news is when misinformation is spread around, this normally  happens online in written articles but sometimes it can be done by  big companies. it can be very easy to fall for fake news as it will try to look like a trustworthy company or sometimes will pretend to be written by a trusted source.

To avoid plagiarism you should make sure that  all work you complete is your own and any sources referenced or mention are correctly cited. To avoid fake news you should check if its written by a trustworthy source and author. You should also check the  article is new and information current.
