- He was an Spanish conqueror and explorer who defeated  the Aztec empire and claimed Mexico for Spain.- He was born around 1485 in medellin- He was the I marqués del Valle de Oaxaca- He first set sail for the New World at the age of 19.-  And finally he died on the second of decembre of 1547

The conquest of Mexico:

Because in Mexico (The island of cozumel) he imposed Christianity and he ordered his army to destroy all the other religious icons. He destroyed the Mexica empire and managed to put it under the control of the crown of Castille. Creating the new Spain.

Because he had been trying to get face to face with Moctezumamany times, and finally he got it. Moctezuma thought they were people send by god and he rewarded with some presents.And finally lots of spanish people died during the "SAD NIGHT"because of a revolt.
