The creation of the world through the eyes of the ancient Greeks and Romans

The creation myth of Greek mythology brings in the heavenly bodies. The world begins from chaos.

Out of the chaos four beings emerge. Eros god of love and reproduction. Gaia is the earth and with help from Eros the world became habitable. Tartarus is the opposite of Gaia and is the embodiment of death. Nyx is the darkness that surrounds the world.

The reasons that most of the Western World has  these ties is that the Ancient Greeks and Romans wrote their stories down, people found these  documents, and they had permanent markers on the regions they inhabited.
