The purpose of this video
is to answer questions
that you may have about
your time in isolation.
00:09
Let’s get started
00:11
How long will I be here??
00:14
You will be in isolation for
at least 10 days from the
date of your positive test.
00:26
What will I eat?
00:28
During your time in isolation,
our Dining team will prepare meals according
to your dietary preferences and deliver
them directly to your door.
The dining times are as follows:
Breakfast: 8 am – 9 am
Lunch: 11 am – 12 pm
Dinner: 6 pm – 7 pm
00:36
At the start of each week,
we will provide you the link to the
dining hall menu and a short survey.
This will give you the opportunity to
make requests.
00:45
Can I order takeout?
00:47
Yes, but we ask that you do not meet the
delivery driver. Please reach out to the
IsoQ support team prior to placing your order,
and we will meet the driver and deliver
the items to your room.
00:54
Can I have visitors?
00:56
No,
you are not able to have
visitors on the isolation floor. However,
we encourage you to find opportunities
to connect with friends in other ways.
If you would like to speak with someone
about finding opportunities for connection,
please reach out to the IsoQ Support Team.
01:05
Can my friend bring me something from my room?
01:07
To prevent your friend from possibly being exposed
to any virus that might be in your
room, the IsoQ Team will coordinate the
retrieval of all items.
To submit a request, please send
us a text at 770-750-5450 with the items
needed, location
in room, and room number.
01:17
How will I do my laundry?
01:19
Laundry service will be
provided once per week.
Place your dirty clothes in
the designated laundry bag
in your room and leave your
laundry outside of your door
before you go to bed on Sunday.
We will return
with clean laundry on Thursday.
01:28
What do I do if there is a maintenance issue (ex:
clogged shower, light bulb is out)
in my room or something is broken?
01:30
If you have any issues with your accommodation,
please reach out to the IsoQ team with the
details and any relevant photos. They will
coordinate with the appropriate staff to
resolve the issue or assist you in changing rooms.
01:40
Can I go outside for some fresh air?
01:43
Yes.
During your time in isolation, we will try
our best to give you supervised outside time
each day to stretch your legs. If you are interested
in getting outside at a specific time,
please reach out to the IsoQ Support Team with your preferred time
(ex: after 6 pm).
All outings must be supervised to ensure
students maintain social distance.
01:56
Can I socialize with other students in isolation?
01:59
Yes!
We encourage you to connect with
other students in isolation via online platforms.
During supervised recreation time, please
remember to wear your mask and maintain
appropriate distance. If you would like to
speak with someone about finding
opportunities for connection,
please reach out to the IsoQ Support Team.
02:12
What is there to do for fun?
02:14
In addition to sharing information about
virtual programming offered to all Oxford students,
the IsoQ team is committed to providing
opportunities to unwind. The following items are available
for check-out: free weights, yoga mats, journals,
playing cards, activity books,
colored pencils, and art supplies.
If interested in these materials or to make a
request, please reach out to the IsoQ team.
02:28
Lastly, it is important to remember that
the isolation floor is an extension of Emory housing
and it is important that you adhere to
all policies as outlined in your housing contract.
Remember to think before you act and that you
are here for your safety and the safety of others.
02:47
