What do students need to complete on placement?

Complete 200 hours, a small scale project, and demonstrate competency areas

Demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of 15 key skill areas related to CAMH

Students need to be cleared before they can start counting placement hours

Tasks will depend on setting, but students should be working directly with clients at points

Students will need a mentor or other senior member of staff to sign timesheets to evidence hours

This might be planning a session or activity with one or more clients - related to CAMH in some way

Students will get support from uni to plan this, and will also require mentor approval beforehand
