Welcome. My Personal Truth is that Nablus Palestine has the best knafe.

Knafe is a Palestinian sweet. It is loved all through out the middle eastern world.

Knafeh is a traditional Middle Eastern dessert made with spun pastry called kataifi, soaked in sweet, sugar-based syrup, and typically layered with cheese, or with other ingredients such as clotted cream, pistachio or nuts, depending on the region.

One of the most well-known preparations of the dessert is "Knafeh Nabulsiyeh", which originated in the city of Nablus, and is the most representative and iconic Palestinian dessert.

A common story is that the dish was created, and prescribed by doctors, to satisfy the hunger of caliphs during Ramadan. The story is variously said to have happened in Fatimid Egypt, or in the Umayyad Caliphate in Syria.

When I was younger I remember going to Nablus and getting fresh sweets. We would always do this.

When I was a kid I remember eating all kinds of sweets with my siblings. This was fun because everything was so sugary.

With all the different types of sweets there are many beverages that are served with the sweets. Like middle eastern tea. Also known as chai.

Tea is served with sweets because it helps with digestion. When tea is served with sweets it usually doesn't have sugar so it can balance the sweetness from the desserts.

Middle eastern coffee is usually served with sweets as well. Arabic coffee is a version of the brewed coffee of Coffee arabica beans. Most Arab countries throughout the Middle East have developed distinct methods for brewing and preparing coffee. Cardamom is an often-added spice, but it can alternatively be served plain or with sugar.

Knafeh has a lot of preparation work before it can be baked in the oven. Knafeh is usually baked in a fire stone oven.

Knafeh has many layers of different things. -Phyllo Dough -Cheese, fruits,and nuts -Butter -Sugar All these ingredients come together to make a sweet dessert

Knafeh is also a interesting thing to make because you can experiment and make all different types of things and different shapes. When I make it I always try different fillings and toppings.

Knafeh cakes are also really interesting because they take so much effort and time to layer each individual layer. Also to get that structure is difficult so it  takes a lot of time and effort

Palestine Nablus has the best knafeh because it is made with so much apperciation and effort for the actual history of the sweet.

Nablus Palestine holds the world guinness record for the largest knafeh ever made. Nablus is known for this sweet because they have mastered the art of making such a difficult sweet.
