In Merry Old England, there once lived a youth named Robin Hood.

He was very good at the bow and arrow

The lad went to try his luck at a shooting match in Nottingham. He had to pass through Sherwood forest.
00:12
There he met some of the King's foresters.
00:14
They jeered at him for thinking he was good enough to compete at the match and challenged him to shoot one of the deer in a herd a long way's off.

The foresters - whose job it was to take care of the King's deer in the forest, were not very happy at his success and threatened to harm him.

But Robin was quicker, and, in haste, stuck an arrow in the most prideful forester and killed him.
