Abortion laws one of the most controversial topics as of now
00:05
The overturning of law Roe V wade could put Millions of women across the united states at jeopardy of not  being able to control whether they have a baby or not.

Abortion in 26 states can not happen after a certain amount of weeks. The stricest states on abortion as of now is texas.

This issue is a big problem because them overturning the law could potentially cause over population

Roe V. Wade was passed in January 1973 to give access to women who want abortions and gave them the right to, Ms. Jane Roe and a Texas doctor had a lawsuit arguing Texas abortion laws. Originally people could only get abortion if it was to save the mother life it was illegal to do a abortion if you did not want it and the pregnancy was not life threatening. Ms. Roe and the doctor fought the state of texas in supremecourt and eventually they split the difference and came out with the conclusion to give women the right to abortion without excessive government restriction.

Through the years the states have continued reforming the law and helping move it forward. Now we have birth contraceptives that has helped moved this issue forward. The only thing  standing in the way now are certain activist organization like pro-life and know they are peopling trying to overturn the law
00:44
Hopefully the law will not be overturned if it reaches the supreme court again. If successful people will still have the right to choose whether or not to have an abortion. We will only successfully keep this law in action if we provide evidence that abortions actually help people and the economy. Hopefully the law will not go to court because it will most likely be reformed.
