Title of lesson: The Perspective Play Learning objective: The students will break up into groups and show their understanding of the principles of design, music, and movement. Grade level: 5 Content areas and art forms: This will be done for history, as well as the visual and dramatic arts. Standards addressed CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RH.6-8.1 Cite specific textual evidence to support analysis of primary and secondary sources. CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RH.6-8.7 Integrate visual information (e.g., in charts, graphs, photographs, videos, or maps) with other information in print and digital texts. CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RH.6-8.9 Analyze the relationship between a primary and secondary source on the same topic. Developmental skills addressed: Tactile, social, creative Materials needed: Script, paper, crayons, scissors, glue, CD/CD Player Classroom setup: The chairs and tables will be moved into a circle to give the students a bulk of the floor space to work with.
