Coca cola Phillipines has mobilized its associates to participate in the 34th International Coastal Clean up. 150 of Coca cola’s associates took part in the cleaning activities. The company has increased efforts to reiterate PET bottles as they are 100% recyclable. The company has also been collaborating with local governments and partners.

Geographic segmentation - some countries have less developed waste management systems than others so in order to increase awareness and increase recycling in those countries. Behavioral Segmentation - people have more enthusiastic attitudes towards environmentally responsible activities so in order to attract their attention psychographic segmentation is used

It is still not enough as the world still produces 500 million tons of plastic which is not recycled so they need to involve more organizations to improve the situation.
