My truth

My personal truth is the grass is always greener where you water it.

 Example 1

“By spending time worrying about and focusing on what everyone else’s yard (ie. life, career, relationships, etc.) looks like, you’re wasting time that could otherwise be spent on watering your own yard (ie. life, career, relationships, etc.). The result is a whole lot less confidence in your own work, a whole lot more overwhelm with the world around you, and a whole lot less progress in your own yard.” Coming up Roses Blog

"If you think others are living the dream you saw every day, then make changes the right away. Water the grass on your side of the fence. Greener grass is not just an optic illusion; it can be yours too. The grass can be greener forever."                                            The Mind Fool

“Feeling good doesn't just happen. Living a life in balance means taking the necessary time to renew yourself. It's all up to you. You can renew yourself through relaxation. Or you can totally burn yourself out by overdoing everything…Just remember that every day provides a new opportunity for renewal--a new opportunity to recharge yourself instead of hitting the wall. All it takes is the desire, knowledge, and skill.” Covey's 7 Habits

The grass is always greener when you water it because it always helps you to focus on yourself and your goals. When you prioritize yourself, school, and hobbies then you can strive.. Don't focus on how everyone else is doing in life, focus on yourself because you are your top priority. By wasting time worrying about “how other people's yards look” you aren't focusing on your yard which can result in less confidence and productivity. If you are happy with what you are doing, then no one can tell you you aren't successful.
