Opening and closing without control,
Beating at the start and end…
What would we do without the very mistreated ‘heart’?
Turning to stone,
Remember: A heart is like a person or glass,
Without a good upbringing they are prone to break.
One which belongs to no one,
One which is bound by the burden of making everyone else happy…
What could we do?
Cursing a heart for love is denial,
Cursing a heart for pain is understandable…
What could you do if you had a big heart?
“Sensitivity is bad for such a big world”
Yet, unfortunately you can’t stop a heart from feeling.
Denial just turns one to stone,
But one day a person will melt the layers through…
Hiding one away from fear of pain,
Will only result in more,
But anyways why would you pick to pick to wear a plastic smile over getting hurt over and over again…
Sure, the pain will, of course, hurt,
You’ll feel emptiness,
Even if your heart closes,
Turns to stone or even abandons you…
Someone...someday...will heal it…
So good luck with having a ‘heart’,
It’ll be hard for sure...but…
I know you’ll get through it someday…
But...of course...there are others...who can share the pain, the heartbreak,
The turmoil, the guilt...all of it… with you...
