Narrator:As Hansel and Gretel got closer to the house, they realized it was a special house.

Hansel: look it's made of sweets

Narrator: Hansel and Gretel nibbled away hungry mice suddenly an old woman opened the door

Witch: you are eating my house are you hungry?

Hansel and Gretel: we're so sorry

Hansel:we didn`t mean to eat your house...

Gretel: but we were so hungry

Witch: come inside, dear children

Narrato: Hansel and Gretel stepped inside the house.Then theold woman locked the door

Witch: how dare you eat my cottage! Now i will eat you, boy! and you, lazy girl, can get to work!

Hansel and Gretel: no, we didn't mean to we're sorry

Narrator: she was a wicked witch!

Narrator: the witch locked Hasel in a chicken cage

Wicth: you are too skinny to eat now, but i will fatten you up. Little girl, get me some gingerbread

Gretel: no, i won't

Witch: then, i could eat you first!

Hansel: please Gretel, do as she says!

Narrator: Each day, the witch fed Hansel lots of sweets and gingerbread And each day, she felt Hansel's finger to see if he was fat enough to eat, but he knew she couldn't see well.

Wicth:Show me your finger, boy!

Hansel: here it is

Wicth: still too thin!

Narrator: soon the wicth grew tired of waiting

Wicth: i can't wait any longer!  i shall eat you tomorrow!

Hansel: oh no!

Gretel: oh dear!

Wicth: little girl, go and cut the wood to make the oven nice and hot

Narrator: Hansel began to worry and Gretel couldn't stop crying

Narrator: the next morning, the wicth decided to eat both children

Wicth: Gretel, climb into the  oven to see if it's hot enough

Gretel: i don't know how. show me

Wicth: stupid girl like this!

Narrator: suddenly, gretel had a great idea.  As the witch bent right over, clever Gretel pushed  her inside the oven and slammed the door

Wicth: it's too hot! let me out, Hansel. LET ME OUT!!

Gretel: come out, Hansel

Hansel: where is the wicked witch?

Gretel: i pushed her into the oven and locked the door

Hansel: you are so clever and brave!

Narrator: they took the witch's stolen treasure, then, Hansel and Gretel found their way out of the dark forest, and soon found their way home again
