Nature lets the individual be at free in their natural state
Evidence to prove it
The evidence can be shown by the novel "The Awakening" by Kate Chopin
where our main character, Edna, uses nature, the ocean as a way to be free
and the short essay by Ralph Waldo Emerson titled "Nature" where he expla-
ins how nature makes him feel free.
"Nature" by Emerson
Emerson explains how in nature he feels free and that it is the purest form.
"There I feel that nothing can befall me in life,—no disgrace, no calamity,
which nature cannot repair"(Emerson 9). He shows how it helps him feel
free. In nature he is his truest self not bond by society, culture, and norms
as others would be.
"The Awakening" by Kate Chopin
