Pedro Alvares Cabral said Brazil was part of his country when it really was not.

But in 1822 brazil was finally free from Portuguese claiming brazil was theirs.

Sadly in 1964 a Military took over Brazilian government.

They were free from the dictatorship 21 years later in 1985.

The most spoken language in Brazil is Portuguese.

The reason why Brazilians speak portuguese is because Brazil was colonized by Portugal.

Many other languages are spoken but Portuguese is the most spoken and/or popular.
