This interview was sort of long so I only included what I believe was the best answer from my mother and the best answer from my father.
00:05
How do different people or groups present and express their power?
00:19
My father believe that it varies from group to group, some sing, some dance, some believe in vows of silence, some in meditation, others in parades, etc... There are also violent groups who seek to oppress and harm others. I dont think these groups should be tolerated, ever. However, of the groups that simply mean to celebrate their identities, I beleive it can be fun and interesting to see how these groups express themselves.
00:48
Do you think racism is still relevant today? (Couldn't say TKAM because my parents didn't read it)
00:56
My mother does think that that racism is still relevant today. She beleives we have made good progress, especially here in the U.S. dealing with racism but we still have a long way to go. Like several recent events such as the famouse killing of George Floyd shows that black people still continue to suffer from police violence and discriminaiton.
