The wall of the city had twelve foundations decorated
with every kind of precious stone, and on them were
the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb namely:
jasper, sapphire, agate, emerald, onyx, ruby,
chrysolite, beryl, topaz, turquoise, jacinth, and amethyst.
The walls that were made out of jasper were measured
using human measurement and are said to be 144 cubits thick.
While the great street of the city was made out of gold.
