Many of you have no idea who I am, which is completely fair. You've spent your college years working closely with our amazingly talented and caring

Those are the faces and names I know you will remember for years to come...

My name is Steve Colón, CEO of Bottom Line.

And like most of you a proud first-generation college graduate.

When I graduated from St. John's University, there were just so many people I wish I could have invited,

and thank for both the big and the little things they did to help me finish.

But that was a really, really long time ago.

We're talking back in the 1900s,

a time before Tik Tok, Instagram or smartphones could carry the festivities to my friends and family in New York or Puerto Rico.

These are also times before Bottom Line Advisors, or Bottom Line care package, or even nights like tonight,

Bottom Line Recognition Nights.

But regardless of how many decades have passed for me,

I know firsthand that for first-generation students like us, a

graduation ceremony is not just a celebration of our individual accomplishments,

but a momentous occasion for our families, and the many relentless allies in our lives who helped us get here.

And I hope that this Recognition Night is a chance for you to thank them and for us to thank them, together.

So let me start by congratulating you - the graduating Class of 2024!
