In today's lesson we will be learning the SAMR in Motion through the  California Missions Project.

Students will use Google Docs to create their essay on their California Mission.

Substitution- Technology acts as a direct substitute with no functional change.

After their final draft is complete, students will use Prezi to share their main points of their essay using pictures or videos. They will have the choice of doing a voice over or just creating a quick slideshow.

Argumentation- Technology acts as a different substitute with functional improvement

Modification- Technology allows for significant task redesign.

Students will then use Virtual Tour of Your Mission. they can explore virtually the inside and outside of the mission they chose.

Redefinition-technology allows for the creation of new tasks, previously inconceivable.

As students are exploring through their California Mission, they will use Screencast to record their screen as they talk about any interesting facts they learned about their mission. They will then upload the video on Canvas to their discussion board so classmates can provide their feedback.
