Students will use Google Docs
to create their essay on their
California Mission.

Substitution- Technology
acts as a direct substitute
with no functional change.
00:20
After their final draft
is complete, students will
use Prezi to share their
main points of their essay using
pictures or videos. They will have
the choice of doing a voice over
or just
creating a quick slideshow.
00:20
Argumentation-
Technology acts as
a different substitute
with functional
improvement
00:39
Modification- Technology allows for significant task redesign.
00:40
Students will then use Virtual Tour of Your Mission.
they can explore virtually the inside and outside of
the mission they chose.
00:57
Redefinition-technology
allows for the creation
of new tasks, previously
inconceivable.
01:03
As students are exploring through their
California Mission, they will use Screencast
to record their screen as they talk
about any interesting
facts they learned about their mission.
They will then upload the video on Canvas
to their
discussion board so classmates can
provide their feedback.
