One challenge we faced was trying to keep the air in the syringes. Every time we would connect them, the air would come out the other end. To overcome this challenge we used hot glue and a straw. By using hot glue it secured the end of each syringe to the straw to keep the air in.

From my original design I changed the base. I had originally thought that it would work without a base, but I realized it would slide. Therefore I added a small container under the structure and secured it with glue to keep it from sliding.
