The communication of our programmes using our all-new, accessible and smart Accelerated Development SharePoint site, and related Q&A on Yammer The recruitment and sifting campaigns run, organised and executed entirely online and attracting high numbers of applicants In response to the REAP, increasing places on Embrace AA-O from 15 to 30 and on HO/SO from 15 to 20 – with only limited resources The team’s resilience in the face of adversity in helping each other out and filling in for colleagues as an when necessary The corporate efforts of the Embrace team in supporting the EHRC to establish their own positive action programme

Positive Action PathwayIn June this year we designed and delivered increasing confidence sessions across all gradesIn August we delivered Success behaviour sessions across all grades followed by a networking call giving everyone an opportunity to share experiences and get to know the wider PAP community.In November we designed and delivered an Introvert/Extrovert session to all gradesIn December we designed and hosted the end of year celebration event. We were proud to bring together the 2019 cohort and celebrate their learning with support from senior speakers and alumni

FLS/SLSIn October Yasmin designed a badge for our FLS/SLS community in HMRC to attach to their email signature which is intended to recognise their achievement on this 2- year intensive leadership programmeIn December we designed and delivered a focus group session supported by the EDI team with the META/DELTA alumni to understand talent progression, identification and development from a D&I lensWe celebrate 2020 as a success for collaborating with our talent community, supporting meaningful discussions to help individuals identify opportunities and build capability both inside and outside of our tea

HRFS 4 new HRFSers onboarded into HMRC on 1st April (despite only been 3 weeks into lockdown / remote working at the time). 4 PIDS created in record time and 4 Surface Pro’s safely delivered to home addresses.(Phew!)HRFS Welcome Event- 13 HRFsers attended the first ever virtual HRFS Welcome Event. Summer Diversity Internship Programme (SDIP) 16 out of the 19 SDIP interns originally due to join HMRC this summer took part in the SDIP alternative offer. As part of the SDIP alternative offer, 16 HMRC SDIP interns attended the first ever virtual BEIS Diversity Inclusion and Race Session; with 68 SDIP interns from BEIS/HMRC attending in total.
