Discussion - 24 Intellect explains to brother what he meant by 'go all out for liberation'. Our true nature is the Subject and can never become the object of the senses, mind or intellect. They belong to absolutely two different states of reality, like the dream and waking state. There is no transaction between the two states. Since the flow of thoughts is covering the reality, you were instructed to give up all desires till thoughts end and the Reality is discovered.

Intellect says as the Self cannot be grasped by the mind, so it will be wrong to disturb the mind again after any stillness has been achieved by thinking about how you feel or what you did, and make the thoughts flow again. The Self is a fixed state and any concern for it will only bring to life the state from which you want to get out. By not starting any new thought you can retain the stillness gained.
01:28
Intellect assures brother that if you remain absolutely still, free from all thoughts, you will surely come to experience deep bliss in the seat of meditation at the Lord's holy feet. There is no progress in Self-Realisation as it is homogeneous and ever the same. The Self is always Realised. The progress is in the number of doubts removed and obstacles overcome which are blocking our true understanding, as thoughts.
