How FEMA helps in disasters

They send out government officials through the organization to help the communities before, during and after the disaster occur. They help  prepare and heal the communities from the  damage that occur.

How American Red Cross helps in disasters

The Red Cross sends out volunteers through the organization to the  disaster communities. They assist in  helping the communities get back  on their feet after tragic disasters occur. This organization is different than FEMA because the workers are on a volunteering basis and FEMA is a government-based agency.
