VR encourages the practice of social communication skills daily and prepares for "real-life" stuations
How is VR implemented and When to use it?
VR is implemented typically in a home or school setting with a VR viewer with a mouse and headset
Individuals using the VR are trained on how to navigate to each program in the VR
VR can be used for students who may have more severe struggles with social communication such as anxiety. VR is also extremely helpful if a student is sickor home-bound
Will students confidently transfer skills after using VR? Is generalization feasible?
Do students have reliable internet to use VR? Are all supplies available?
Cost? Will the cost for VR programs be too much?
