WHAT IS TRUTH?
00:10
Swami Tejomayananda says, " The truth is called Brahman. That which is 'Big' is Brahman. 'Big' is an adjective which qualifies a noun. The adjective is limited by the noun it qualifies."
00:31
For example, when we say 'this is a big elephant' bigness is limited to the size or the bigness of the elephant. Similarly, when we say 'a big mouse' bigness is limited to the size or bigness of the mouse. The adjective 'big' is restricted by the size of the elephant or the mouse, the two nouns it qualifies. When an adjective is used without a noun, there is no restriction on its limit.
01:08
Brahman is said to be the Big. Its bigness has no limits. It is Infinite. There are no objects there. Material objects known as 'mine' are other than the knower 'me', so too, all that is known by oneself as 'my', and, are therefore not the Self. Thus one should know oneself to be Infinite, of the nature of Existence-Consciousness-Bliss. Therefore, Brahman is the pure Self the Atman.
