Moovly is a scale-up SaaS company that has made it its mission to enable everyone to create video content. The cloud-based Moovly platform allows its users to create engaging product or explainer videos for social media, professional looking advertising videos and even allows you to turn your videos into lively conference presentations. By making it affordable, simple and intuitive, Moovly democratizes the video creation process and makes sure anyone can create an impressive video. Moovly is looking for an experienced front-end developer to help drive the growth of its video creation platform with state-of-the-art front-end features. Based in Ghent, you’ll be a member of the team responsible for the development and support of the Moovly user features and applications.

Your Role – Frontend Developer

You’re contributing to the development of creative online video applications
You convert complex multimedia effects (animations, motion graphics, video filters…) to easy, user-friendly tools and steps
You develop end-user features and interfaces in the front-end web environment
You use innovative, state-of-the art web technologies, you closely follow their evolution and have the flexibility to introduce cutting edge technologies

What we’re looking for

Strong JavaScript knowledge and React.js
Experience with React native and Pixi.js is a plus
Familiar with GIT(hub) and no fear of getting your code peer reviewed
Strong interest in UI/UX design
Knowledge to make well-founded decisions regarding architecture
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Maturity, curiosity, respect, flexibility, and ownership
Team player not afraid to help out, or ask for help
Based in Belgium
At least 1 year of experience in similar roles
